OSTPOL e.V. was founded in Leipzig in 2008 as a non-profit association for the promotion of international cultural projects.

We develop joint projects with artists from Germany and international partners in an interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue. Within the framework of OSTPOL’s programs, 47 interdisciplinary art projects have been created to date. The artists and their visual arts projects (experimental films, performances) are regularly invited to art galleries and film festivals and have won numerous awards. After 15 years, OSTPOL has a steadily growing network of artists from all disciplines as well as festivals and cultural organizations in Germany and abroad.
